Germany/Portugal — With effect from January 1, 2022, German Magnewirth Technologies Group will acquire 100 percent of the shares in Leomável Moldes, and thus expand its capacities in plastics technology.
With the acquisition of mould manufacturer Leomável Moldes, the Magenwirth Technologies Group gains further know-how in the field of mould making and plans to expand the capacities of its own plastics technology division Gustav Magenwirth (Magura) in the long term. The family-owned company Leomável Moldes, founded in 1984, with around 20 employess at the Maceira/Leiria site, will remain in existence.
“The takeover is not only a sensible addition to existing technologies and safeguarding of our supplier structure, but also provides access to the sourcing market in Portugal via this new company location in Europe, as well as the opportunity for sustainable growth,” says Fabian Auch, Managing Partner of Magenwirth Technologies.
Both companies have enjoyed a close partnership for many years, which is to lead to a common future and be further expanded through the acquisition.
